This week’s discussion is: You. I want to hear a win that you’ve had recently. It can be small or big, or somewhere in-between… I just want to hear from you. These Friday Open Discussions consistently get a lot of people reading them, but only a few people joining in with the chat (thank you to those people!) so if you’ve been on the fence, consider this a sign to jump in and join us!
Every Friday I open up a discussion topic and ask for your recommendations, experiences, questions, or general feelings on a specific topic.
Please comment and feel free to like and reply to other people’s comments - these Threads are a way to share your knowledge and meet other people in the community - we’re all here because we are in the Rosacea Club! 🧡
Generally I am a person that doesn't believe in myself. I try to change my thinking, and working on this for very long time. Last week I change my job, and although I have been only a week in my new job, I feel strong, I feel better about myself, I started to believe that I can face new challenges. I still have moments of doubt and I know that won't be easy, but the feeling I had all week made me realised that life can be better if we only look at it from different perspective. I know is very hard sometimes, but is worth it.
Thank you so much for sharing this Anna. Congratulations on your new job and on the change in perspective. It sounds like you've put a lot of work in to shifting your mindset and it seems to be paying off x
Life has been challenging recently, so I am taking satisfaction in small wins where I can find them: I’ve (mostly) managed to remember the old saying about letting go of things I can’t change, and focusing my energy into areas where I can make a difference.
Thanks for the blog, Lex — you make a difference in my life!
Small wins are so important to acknowledge. We often focus so much on the big things, but I think the small ones are what keeps us going. Thank you for commenting Sheilah x
