You are giving to me hope and a lot of insights to reflect on: you are able to write down what I feel, creating a community of positive & realistic vibes I really needed. You have made such a difference to me since someone first put me on to your posts about rosacea and how you manage it. I have found products through your videos, articles and recommendations that mean I no longer fear a sunny day, or the constant stream of “your face is so red”, or the well meaning, but misguided, “have you tried …” - er, no I’ve had a metaphorical bucket on my head whilst I wish the redness would magically disappear. And I rarely use my medication now - some pretty hardcore antibiotics - as I’ve found a skin care regime that actually works for me, all through your posts.
So thank you for putting yourself out there. It takes immense courage to be so open on the internet, but I am so grateful for everything you have done to raise awareness and the community you have established. Thank you!

This is such an interesting insight into the world of social media, which I plan on trying to get into as I train to be a counsellor. It does look like it can have a massive impact on mental health (especially if you do the moderation all by yourself!!), and it sounds like you may need a break to get some energy back. Well done for all that work you’ve done throughout the years. 10 years is massive. This has also made me think about commenting on social media posts which I never do - just likes!
My last word would be try stepping back at times, and it might make it clearer to avoid all the negativity to bring you down. It sounds like a lot! Take care 💖
I'm so glad you found this interesting. The internet is such an ever-evolving place and I don't think we're evolving quickly enough to live well along next to it without help.
