I have waited 5 years to say this, so please allow me a very small drumroll… RosaceaCon tickets are now live!!
Okay, now that that’s out of the way, shall we have a quick recap for anyone who isn’t entirely sure what I’m talking about…?
What is RosaceaCon?
RosaceaCon will be the first rosacea community event to take place anywhere in the world - the only event to focus on rosacea sufferers and bring them together in one place. So flipping exciting!
The first half of the event will be focused on information and education, with individual talks and a Q&A session from our wonderful speakers.
The second half will be the community meet-up: this will be your chance to meet others who share your experiences, can empathise with how you feel, and can offer support. Connecting with others from the rosacea community has been so important when coping, psychologically, with my rosacea. I’m so excited that I get to finally meet some of you in person!
RosaceaCon will take place on Saturday the 5th of April. Doors open at 10.30am and close at 1.30pm.
RosaceaCon Speakers
If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know that I believe that skincare and medication are only one part of the rosacea puzzle. The best way to help your skin is to look at your rosacea in a well-rounded and holistic way, and that includes approaching it from all angles. This is reflected in the speakers that will be sharing their expertise with us at RosaceaCon.
As our partner for RosaceaCon, Self London and Self London’s founder, Dr Anjali Mahto have curated a fantastic line-up of speakers for you:

Dr Anjali Mahto
Dr Anjali Mahto is a leading UK consultant dermatologist with extensive experience in both the public healthcare sector and private practice.
In early 2023, Dr Mahto founded Self London, a pioneering dermatology and lifestyle clinic on Harley Street. Self London takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to treating a wide range of skin concerns. With a personal journey shaped by her own experiences with acne, Dr Mahto has a deep understanding of the physical and emotional impact of skin conditions. This insight informs her work at Self London, where she and her team are dedicated to providing tailored, results-driven treatments that prioritise both skin health and overall well-being.
Dr Alexandra Mizara
Dr Alexandra Mizara is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with a specialist focus on psychodermatology. Her research interests encompass the psychological management and well-being of individuals suffering from a variety of skin conditions, as well as body image concerns and adjustment to physical changes. Additionally, Dr Mizara supervises doctoral theses in the area of psychodermatology and is a strong advocate for integrating psychological care into physical health settings.
Lucy Kerrison
Lucy Kerrison is a specialist gastroenterology dietitian and the founder of LK Nutrition, where she leads a dedicated team, providing care to clients in London and online. She began her career in leading NHS hospitals, including the John Radcliffe and Churchill hospitals in Oxford, where she managed patients with complex gastrointestinal surgery and medical conditions. Lucy specialises in IBS, IBD and the microbiome, with a particular interest in how the gut microbiome influences gastrointestinal symptoms, skin health and overall health. Alongside her clinical work, Lucy is a guest lecturer at the University of Surrey and has contributed to the Manual of Dietetic Practice, a core text for dietitians.
Gift Bags
As well as access to the event - including the expert panel and the community meet-up - attendees will also receive a flipping great gift bag. It is currently worth £200 (with more contents TBC!) and features some fantastic products and brands, including Ultra Violette, The Inkey List, IT Cosmetics and more.
The gift bag will also include a discount voucher for select treatments at the Self London clinic. Self London never, ever do discounts so this is really big deal!
RosaceaCon Location
RosaceaCon will be held at the Self London clinic. The full address is: 14 Harley St, London, W1G 9PQ.
The nearest tube stations are Oxford Street or Bond Street.
The nearest public parking is Q Park Oxford Street (behind John Lewis). There is on-street parking on Harley St, but spaces are rare and it’s expensive!
Unfortunately Self London does not have has disabled access. There is the equivalent of one flight of stairs up to the clinic.
Will you be livestreaming the event?
Not this time, but if this is something you would be interested in for future events please let me know in the comments!
I also will be sharing snippets of the day, as well as information shared by our amazing experts, on social media after the event.
Tickets
Tickets are £40 (+ticket fees). And as promised, I’ve set this post to be delivered to paid subscribers first, and then 24 hours later it will be delivered to all of my free subscribers.
Spaces are limited, with only 20 tickets available.
I hope you are all just as excited as me about RosaceaCon - I’ve been working on this for such a long time and can’t quite believe it’s actually happening!
I’m tentatively hoping that this will be the first of many events. If you like the sound of RosaceaCon, but London is too far for you to travel, please do let me know in the comments where you would like RosaceaCon to travel to in the future. I can’t make any promises, but I’ll add them all to my future planning journal..!
